Imagine a crisp Fall day in Siena, Italy. Siena with its centro storico – historic centre – that dates back to the Middle Ages. The vintage brown color of the town’s cobblestones and majestic cathedral have inspired this rich brown/orange wool and leather clutch that I carry through the winding streets, stopping to admire the former residences of the nobility of yesteryear.
Inspired by the elegance and grace of former American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet principal dancer Gelsey Kirkland.
I stroll through Central Park on a spring day as I notice the cherry blossom petals blanket the pathway, Gelsey’s white linen with sun-caught sparkles of gold moves gracefully along with me.
“Luna llena, parecida al blanco de la nieve como la luz en la oscuridad de la noche.”
“The full moon, seemingly like the white of snow like the light amidst the darkness of the night.”
Luna is able to be there on days I never want to end – taking me from a stroll through the back streets of my favorite towns to evening events with friends.
Verona, the exquisite medieval town in the region of Veneto, Northern Italy, the setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Verona captures my heart when we are together and takes me on a romantic journey wherever I go. The mix of soft burgundy velvet and light purple silk – evoke thoughts of past loves and future passions.
